‘The Making Of A Card’ Festive Series #3 Puppy Christmas Tree

For the third installment in the ‘Making Of A Card’ Festive Series I have made a sweet and simple card using stamps and dies from Mama Elephant, Copic markers, Altenew Crisp Dye Inks and Nuvo Glitter Drops.

These are the first Altenew inks I have purchased and while I have had a play around stamping with them, I hadn’t yet tried blending with them. I used the Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades colours and they blended so beautifully on the Poppycrafts cardstock I use, I now can’t wait to get more!

From Mama Elephant I used two dies from the ‘Peek A Frame’ set, a sentiment from the ‘Jingle Greetings’ set and several stamps from the ‘Yappy Woofmus’ set. I coloured them all in using Copic markers and added some Nuvo glitter drops in ‘Holiday Cheer’ and ‘Sunlit Meadow’ for a little added sparkle.

I also made several others using different characters and sentiments and Distress Ink in ‘Barn Door’ and ‘Aged Mahogany’ for the red border.

Simple but sweet. I hope you like them!
